Bespoke investment
Where appropriate, rather than recommending which funds to invest in, we recommend the services of discretionary fund managers. Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, our advisers, act as discretionary fund managers to many of our clients and purchase assets on an institutional basis’. Purchasing assets institutionally is cheaper than purchasing assets on a retail basis as clients are accustomed to, however the fees to utilise the services of these companies must also be taken into consideration. Discretionary fund managers are able to purchase, on a client’s behalf, asset classes which are not readily available to retail investors. Examples of these asset classes include hedge funds, structured products, commodities and derivatives. |
